Why You Should Have a Sandwich Board

If you have a store location, do pop ups shops, or Trade Shows then you should be considering getting a Sandwich Board, and here are a few reasons why.
Cost Effective
Sandwich boards are one of the cheaper in-person marketing materials that you can get for your business. They also come in a variety of types from custom printed boards, a-frames with custom interchangeable signs, or chalk board faces that you can write your own messages on. They come in a variety of sizes so if you have a smaller budget you can get a smaller sign. Typically the chalk board signs are more cost effective overall, since you don't have to get it custom made and can change the message easily with no other purchases required.
Markets to Local Customers
For businesses that sell primarily in person at their stores it is super important to get the attention of locals and tourists. Making sandwich boards great for grabbing the attention of people passing by and bringing them into your location. Targeting locals with social media advertisements can work as well, but is an ongoing expense that can slowly eat away at your marketing budget. Sandwich boards can be a one time purchase that you can use everyday with no extra cost to advertise to locals.
Durable
Unlike banners and printed window signs sandwich boards are much more durable and are easier/cheaper to replace when (or if) they fade. Banners signs can rip and fade while window stickers will crack and peel off over time, but sandwich boards are meant to last even in harsher weather conditions. They may get scratched or acquire some paint chips over time, but these are easy and cheap fixes compared to completely replacing a sign.
Mobil Marketing
A-frames and A-boards are super east to set up and take down making them fairly easy to transport. All you do to set them up is open it and lock the hinge (if it has one) and boom! You're all set up and ready to start the day. This is convenient when compared to stationary signs made to stay where they are installed if you are a mobile business or plan to attend Trade Shows and Expos. They can go with you almost anywhere. Some even have wheels to make transport even easier.
Eye Catching
The majority of every day pedestrians actually ignore most window signs (unless they're out window shopping). Since sandwich boards are placed on the sidewalk within eyesight of people passing by they are seen more. Our brains naturally skip over many types of advertisement as we are constantly shown ads throughout our days, but sandwich boards are placed in the walking path of potential customers causing people to be aware of them. Otherwise if they ignore them they would walk right into them!
Multipurpose
The majority of sign products have one purpose, to advertise a single business. Not sandwich boards! Well, not all of them. With chalk boards and a-frames with interchangeable signs you can advertise multiple businesses if you have more than one business venture to advertise. This way you don't have to purchase multiple boards if you are hoping to use it for different businesses or events.
